본고에서는 셋쿄부시 『아미다노 무네와리』의 연구가 활발하게 되지 않았던 점과, 셋쿄부시의 주요한 효행 이야기들(『아미다노 무네와리』、『마쓰라 장자』、『모쿠렌키(目連記)』) 사이에서의 비교연구가 잘 이루어지지 않았던 점에 주목했다. 그러므로 『아미다노 무네와리』를 『마쓰라 장자』와 대비함으로 셋쿄부시『아미다노 무네와리』를 작품론적인 관점에서 분석했다. 그 결과로서 『아미다노 무네와리』의 작가(작자층)의 향수자(享受者)들에 대한 교육적 의도에 대해 다음과 같이 정리했다.
1. 작자(작가층)는 조직적으로 제휴하는 불천(佛天)에서는 명확한 원리(原理)[선(善)을 행하면 복(福)을 받는다. 악(惡)을 저지르면 벌을 받는다. 덕(德)을 쌓으면 복을 받는다]가 있어서, 그것을 지키느냐, 지키지 않느냐에 따라서 행(幸), 불행(不幸)이 결정되는 것을 가르치고 있었다. 특히 효도(죽은 부모를 성불하게 하여 극락 왕생시키는 일)뿐만 아니라 모든 선한 행위로까지 확대되어 그 선한 행위를 장려하고 있다는 점에 주목해야 한다. 또한 작자(작가층)는 악한 사람이 철저하게 잔학한 천벌(天罰)을 받는다는 것을 보여줌으로써, 향수자들에게 악을 행하는 것을 경계시키고 있는 동시에 불천의 무서움도 가르치고 있었다.
2. 작자(작가층)는 아미타(阿弥陀)가 갖고 있는 '용서의 사랑과 부모와 같은 희생의 사랑'의 위대성을 강조했다. 작자(작가층)는 향수자들에게 아미타의 '용서의 사랑과 부모와 같은 희생의 사랑'에 자신을 맡김과 동시에 만민(죄인을 포함)을 구하는 아미타만을 오로지 믿으라고 가르쳤다.
3. 작자(작자층)는 부모의 속죄 대행자인 자식의 귀중함과 자식에 대한 부모의 공양 교육의 중요성을 인식시키고 있었다.

This study aims to raise the question how dangerous it is to acccept the children's literature that readers often encounter in real life without being critically conscious, and to foster an attitude that allows readers to accept texts in all languages from a critical perspective. Learners of this study have prior knowledge in advance to improve their critical reading skills with Jack and the Beanstalk. Therefore enhancement of the critical reading abilities in the previous study results in a positive effect. A parody, Trust me! Jack's beanstalk stinks!, was employed to discern students' critical abilities and how the parody affected them and to test the improvement of their critical abilities. Similar to the previous study, using the instructor's problem-posing questions, the learners discussed with each other and practiced critical thinking by investigating the intended appearance, gender, racism, gender role, writer's ideology and stereotypes in the text. The learners showed a better effect on their critical reading abilities in this activity, which were not shown in the previous study. After their reading activity, the learners created and presented their parody by changing their own perspectives, with different protagonists, and so on to see how the parody literature affects critical reading abilities. Thus, the parody enhanced the learners' creativity. The duration of the study was not long and there were four participants, however, learning with a parody enabled one to have a positive effect on critical reading and gain a learning effect to ameliorate creativity through parody writing.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a systematic and effective writing education method through tracking the changing process of writing ability of university students. For this purpose, this study examined how university students' writing ability developed according to the writing process. According to the analysis of writing ability evaluation results, the better the writer was, the more negative the subject evaluation was. On the other hand, the response of the inexperienced writer was negative in the composition evaluation, and the same result was obtained in the actual teacher evaluation. In expression evaluation, a good writer wrote fewer inscriptions considering the response of subject and predicate. In addition, the supporting sentences for the soju statement were properly prepared to complete the article. In the evaluation of creativity, the better the writer, the more negative the reaction was. By tracking these changes in writing skills, we can suggest that the teaching methods in the writing process can utilize the following writing strategies. First, in the pre-writing stage, the learner should organize the composition of the writing, ask questions by himself, and specify the outline of the writing. Second, draft writing should organize and elaborate writing activities, evaluate learners themselves, and embody what they write through questions, checks, and reading. Third, the revision requires a writing strategy to re-edify and reorganize draft articles, and to review, restructure, and revise the entire article through advisors, reevaluation, and material statements.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the current status of appellation related to international students, and to suggest alternatives by looking at the problems in using 'names'. For this purpose, we analyzed 174 types of appellations that appear in the titles of 1,155 academic papers. Three problems were pointed out in the naming of international students. First, words related to discrimination consciousness are included, such as 'Muslim' or 'Korean-Chinese' (Joseonjok), which should be avoided. Second, various words with the same meaning are used together. Forms with the same meaning of [Study in Korea] such as “domestic”, “jaehan”, “juhan” were proposed to be unified as “domestic.” Third, there are many cases that overlapping concepts were used in the appellation of international students and that creates redundancy in meaning. In the case of 'foreign international students', if 'foreign or foreigners' is used in combination with 'International students', the meaning is not only redundant but can affect discriminatory perception. So we suggest not to use of 'foreigners' in the appellation of international students.

The current study aims to re-examine palatalization in English within the framework of syllabic and lexical phonology. As partial overlapping occurs among the adjacent segments in natural speech, resyllabification during the word formation is taken for granted. In favor of the ambisyllabicity within a foot by Kahn(1976), Gussenhoven(1986), Choi (1988), and Rubach(1996), the lexical model developed by Kiparsky(1985) has been adopted to definitize where (re)syllabification occurs, which can be adequately represented with X-notation by Levin(1985). In addition, the fact that for the coronal consonants to become ambisyllabic unevitably accompanies the change of the original syllable structure implies that the knowledge on (re)syllabification exists somewhere in lexicon. This issue is well addressed by setting up syllabification device(SD) in integrated phonology. With respect to the prosodic unit within which resyllabification takes place for palatalization, a foot whose formation is largely dependent on the stress pattern has been set. Taking all the arguments into account, it has been found that every derived as well as underived item automatically passes through the SD upon entering phonology. Then, phonological rules apply according to the new syllabic structure.

본 연구는 한국의 예비초등교사들이 5주 동안 진행된 미국에서의 교육실습기간동안의 경험을 분석하였다. 실습기간 동안 12명의 예비교사들이 매주 작성한 실습일지와 개방형 설문지 및 인터뷰 자료를 바탕으로 하여 지속적 비교 방법을 사용하여 결과를 분석하였다. 단기간의 실습이었지만 예비교사들은 미국 초등학교에서 수업을 참관 및 실습하면서 미래초등교사로서 언어적, 교수학습 방법론적, 또한 문화적으로 긍정적인 변화를 경험하였음을 보여주었다. 특히, 미국 초등학교에서의 문화 수업과 초등학생들과 교사들과의 다양한 교류를 통하여 원어민과의 의사소통과 영어 수업에 대한 자신감을 내비쳤다. 또한, 미국 학교의 다양한 교수방법과 교실 문화에 대해 맹목적이기보다는, 비판적이면서도 성숙한 태도로 받아들이려는 모습을 보여주었다. 이와 같은 긍정적인 결과는 예비교사들이 실습 전부터 가지고 있었던 영어 사용에 대한 불안감에도 불구하고, 실습 기간 동안, 미국 초등학생들과 교사들과 적극적으로 관계를 형성하고 의식적으로 영어로 의사소통하려는 지속적인 노력이 있었기에 가능하였던 것으로 보인다. 본 연구의 결과는 해외교육실습 초청기관, 참여기관, 참여교사 모두에게 좀 더 효과적인 해외교육실습에 대한 시사점을 제공한다.

This study focused on 'Place'to discuss the space and place in which humans lived since the ancient times, in relation to various series of events taking place in today's world. Through this study, I will emphasize the meaning of place and further lay a foundation for thinking and considering human beings. To this end, the researches and arguments of Yi-Fu Tuan and Jeff Malpas were considered. In Chapter 2, the perspectives of geography and philosophy on place were reviewed through the writings and researches of Yi-Fu Tuan and Malpas. Then I looked at humans in the place and the place as the basis for humans beings'existence. Human beings in place are the ideas that Yi-Fu Tuan got from visiting and examining various regions. The place as the basis for humans beings'existence is what Malpas obtained from his analysis of Martin Heidegger and literary works, and strengthened the study of place as the human geography. Based on the these discussions, I tried to go further and expand the discussions on place. In Chapter 3, in hopes of concentrating on place rather than space, I thought about how and in what form the place exist for us and what the tasks are based on the discussions of Yi-Fu Tuan and Malpas. I hope that this study will give us a clearer picture of the concept and value of the place.

This article critically examines the negative aspects of the combination of ecology and spirituality in North America. Chapter 2 analyzes the ideological foundations and characteristics of Nature Religion that has spread in North America since the 1970s. Chapter 3 examines the problems that can arise from the combination of ecology and spirituality, focusing on North American cases. To this end, the soon-to-be-commercialized trends in ecological and spiritual combinations are categorized as 'Warped Animism'and Ecofascist tendencies as 'Distorted Gaian Religion', and the context and characteristics of each type are examined.
When the perception of the vitality of individual beings develops in the direction of purchasing the vitality of individual objects to promote the self vitality, those trends would be absorbed by capitalism and contribute to the privatization and commercialization of ecological spirituality. It becomes the 'Warped Animism'.
When the ecological movement believes that the whole planet is sacred and tries to preserve it by ignoring the well-being of human beings or individual creatures, or taking its sacrifice for granted, it becomes the “Distorted Gaian Religion.”
The reason why the modifiers 'Warped'and 'Distorted'are put in front of Animism and Gaian Religion is not that there is a problem with animism or the Gaia spirituality itself, but rather that some of the warped and distorted flows expressed in a particular context show the problems.

This study began with the interest of preparing for the old age of Chinese immigrant women who are now in middle age. We used narrative inquiry and Mezirow's transitional learning process for the meaning and reflection of old age preparation. First, the parental influence and practical experience in the experience phase. Second, the type and level of preparation for old age, which are considered the most important in critical reflections. Third, in the rational discourse stage, the government wanted to draw a reflection on other preparations for old age through “If I suddenly get sick” and “Awareness and Problem Solving of Lonely Death.” Fourth, the action phase dealt with the national needs with the experience of transition learning. The results are as follows. First, they lived frugally under the influence of their parents, but there was no in-depth reflection on their preparations for their old age. However, it was expanding awareness through participation in this study. Second, the content of the rational discourse recognized it as an event that I wanted to avoid. However, he called for personal efforts in case of emergency and for state support in case of necessity. Therefore, the government should develop and implement an aging preparation education program in which all types can be supported, and pay attention to building a care infrastructure utilizing national and social resources for areas where there is a limit to individual efforts.
