The MICE industry, where human resources are important, lacks human resources. The purpose of this study is to find a way to reduce the turnover rate by finding the desired method of work and human resources. The data were collected from the professional convention organizers(PCO) in the MICE industry in Seoul and the metropolitan area, and 116 valid copies were collected and regression analysis was conducted.
Firstly, four job stresses selected for the study had harmful effect on turnover intention. Secondly, not only job value had mediating effects on intention to leave between job stress and turnover intention but also influenced on intention to leave directly. The higher the inherent job value of the business ability relationship, the lower the turnover intention. And the higher the extrinsic job value of job stability anxiety, the higher the turnover intention.

The purpose of the study is to identify the structural relationships among the luxury hotel restaurant brand equity, gastronomic propensity and purchase intention. In addition, the study attempts to explore the effect of the gastronomic propensity as a mediating variable. The geographical scope of the research covers the luxury hotel restaurants including Western, Korean, Chinese, Japanese cuisine and buffet style in major cities in South Korea. 355 survey questionnaires were distributed to the customers visiting the restaurants and 296 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. In order to verify the 4 hypotheses established, the obtained data were utilized for the factor analysis, ANOVA and structural equation model by employing SPSS and AMOS. The major research findings can be summarized as follows. Firstly, it turns out that the brand equity has a positive effect on gastronomic propensity and purchase intention respectively. Secondly, gastronomic propensity has a positive effect on the purchase intention. Lastly, the gastronomic propensity variable has a partial mediating effect between the brand equity and the purchase intention.

The purpose of this study is to classify the foreign tourism market according to the special purpose by the decision tree technique and to analyze the market size. In this study, we compared 7 types of special purpose tourism market by comparing the purpose of visiting foreign tourists in UNWTO's IRTS 2008 and KTO's 2017 foreign tourists Survey. The tourism market size is based on tourism income in the tourism balance of the Bank of Korea. The results of the study were statistically significant with 35 terminal nodes in decision trees. The market of node 26 is the biggest market of 707 million dollars; pattern of node 26; family / relatives (partner type) → China, Hong Kong (nationality) → First visit (a number of visiting). The second market appeared to be Node 50 ; friends / lovers (companion type) → Japan (nationality) → women (gender). It can be seen that the main market is occupied by the leisure and vacation market. This study has shown hierarchical characteristics of statistically significant characteristics influencing the segmentation of korea inbound tourist market by decision tree technique.

Growing accessibility of the internet raised the popularity of online surveys, yet the efficiency and reliability of online survey data are questioned. This study aims to find an answer to this by comparing and contrasting the data collected via offline and online surveys. Results suggested the similarities and differences in offline and online surveys. No significant differences in gender were detected while some age groups revealed differences in two surveys. Also, internal reliability showed no big difference in both survey types and homogeneity of variance test indicated that variance of both offline and online survey were almost similar. However, T-test results showed the differences in means of both survey data. Especially data from online survey indicated higher tendency toward positive response. These findings implied the possibility of the online survey as a survey method substituting the traditional offline surveys.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of tourism preference attributes and tourism satisfaction on the tourism preference type of senior tourists in Korea. Selective attributes, and tourism satisfaction. Serveys were conducted from October 1, 2017 to December 20, 2017 with the half of surveys and sightseeing guides at tourist sites in Seoul, Busan, Gyeongju and Jeju, airports, hotels, and duty free shop. All the questionnaires that were distributed 400 were copies, and 364 copies were used for the final analysis.
As a result of the analysis, five types of travel desire types are social relation type, relaxation learning type, vitality, status type, and exploration type partially influenced by safety convenience, tourism infrastructure, and culture experience, respectively. In addition, there were significant differences in social desirability type and exploratory type in travel desire according to the countries of Korea and Japan.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship between the social capital of local festivals and the attachment, performance and social support of the local community. First, the social capital of festival performances will have a significant effect on the attachment of the region. Second, local affection through festival performances will have a significant effect on performance. The hypothesis was forming a significant influence relationship. Third, local affection through festival performances will have a significant influence on local support. The hypothesis was forming a significant influence relationship. Fourth, the performance of festival performances will have a significant influence on the regional support.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how hotel employees perceived their unions' role and how it influenced union effectiveness by applying the concept of organisational justice by types of ownership at deluxe hotels. This study used the structural equation modeling(SEM) approach and the results of this study demonstrated that the 'welfare and welfare facility' and 'pay negotiations and job security' had a positive influence on distributive justice. However, both factors had no significant influence on procedure justice in international hotel companies. The findings indicated that employees who worked at international chain hotels were likely to have a more collective voice and deliver a stronger voice than the employees working at Korean owned hotels. This study will provide a better understanding of the distinctive role of trade union by types of ownership in the Korean context for Korean and foreign executives.

The purpose of this study is to examine the differences between initial trust group and mature trust group of online travel agencies. For empirical study, an on-line survey was conducted during the period from October, 2018 to January, 2019. Respondents are Chinese people who know about C-trip, an well known on-line travel agency in China. After data cleaning process, a total number of 328 usable responses were used for final data analysis. The results indicate that initial and mature trust group of C-trip differ significantly in gender composition, use experience of C-trip, trust level in all four different factors, and continuous use intention of C-trip. The use pattern of C-trip, however, is not statistically different between two groups. Theoretical and empirical implications with directions for future study are addressed.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a plan for systematic support to foreign students for their successful life of studying abroad by doing an empirical analysis of the relationship between acculturation stress, learning motivation, and Korean proficiency of the foreign students residing in Korea. As a result of this study, first, acculturation stress was found to have a partially positive(+), and negative(-) influence on learning motivation; second, acculturation stress was found to have a partially negative(-) influence on Korean proficiency, and third, learning motivation was found to have a partially positive(+), and negative(-) influence on Korean proficiency. The implications of this study are as follows: First, there might be a need to encourage foreign students to do Korean learning, and lend them a helping hand so that they could solve their economic woes rather than their perceived discrimination and Korean language usage. Second, the personnel involved in foreign students are supposed to continuously have interest in socializing, and in formation of a relationship between foreign students and Koreans.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a practical application of digital data conversion of architectural culture facilities for activation of urban tourism. The key difference between existing studies and this research for digital data conversion of architectural culture facility is that the former is usually focused on service of simple 2D digital data, the latter concentrated on the user oriented 3D digital model service. So, the visitor who have tour plan of architectural culture facility can experience the virtual realty through 3D digital model service, and make a plan for specific visitor uses. Characters of this research can be summarized as three factors; 1) The use of Space Syntax analysis, 2) Combination 3D digital model with 360° photograph, 3) Optimum information user interface for the service of culture tourism contents.
