This study examined the Japanese literary research project conducted in 1948. After the Meiji period, there was a previous survey that Japanese literacy was over 90%. After World War II, there were changes in Japanese surrounding Japan, and in addition, there was pressure to reform the Korean language by the American Education Mission. In the survey, there is a group that interprets that Japanese literacy is high with a result of 78.3 points. On the other hand, the result of only 4.4% of the perfect scores shows that very few people have the ability to use the minimal language used by the survey. In particular, when the average score of writing kanji was only 58.8, it can be seen that the kanji literacy of Japanese is quite low.

Kim Dongwon is the pioneer of Korean Independent Documentary. Sanggye-Dong Olympic, his first documentary was the beginning of the Korean documentary activism. From then, he became the iconic figure in the Korean Independent documentary. He has focused on people whom his camera pointed. So in spite of his name value and influence, his film has received low evaluation aesthetically. But I think his latest film, Jung il-woo, My Friend show the important aesthetic characteristics. Jung il-woo, My Friend was made in the memory of Jung il-woo and his devotion to Korean people. Like other biography film, Jung Iil-woo, My Friend shows the life of Father Jung il-woo. But it show the some characteristics of essay film, representative genre of post cinema. Unlike the personal documentary that uses the first person narrator, in this film there are four anonymous narrators. These 4 narrators exceed the place of the subject and make this film the set of possibilities of formal experiment.
It would be rapid conclusion that Jung il-woo, My Friend is the essay film and Kim Dongwon showed the evident change to essay film. But I think Jung il-woo, My Friend show the possibility that Kim Dongwon the iconic director react to the change of the media environment and it will be the beginning of the leap of Korean Independent documentary.

Film expands the meaning of images through interdependent relations of elements such as color, camera movement, shape and position of objects, composition, illumination and angle. Such visual expression forms the emotional response and unique style that the audience feels, and thus creates excellent visual beauty and implicit meaning to be conveyed by the film. This study analyzes the structure and contents of narrative, and grasps cooperation and confrontational relationship among the central characters. Also, it analyzes the principle of expression form that works between features and elements such as composition, movement, color. The research of Signification uses the semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce.The flat composition expressed in The Grand Budapest Hotel creates in-depth meanings such as the socio-political ideology of the 1930s, the loneliness underlying the characters, the vertical-vertical relationships of the characters, and left-right horizontal relations in peers, brothers, and loving relationships. In addition, movement and color challenge the existing order and authority, and delightfully and amusingly portray protest against rigid politics and society. The visual expression form of narrative in The Grand Budapest Hotel forms the expression of symmetry, asymmetry, balance between formal and non-formal, and change of emphasis and contrast. This serves as an important clue to clearly communicate the content and theme of the movie and to provide meaning to the audience. It can include emotional values and social notions of visual beauty from descriptive functions that provide information and situations of time and space.

4Testing Implicit and Explicit Knowledge: Empirical Evidence of L2 English Genericity Acquisition by L1 Korean Adult Learners

In order to investigate adult L2 learners' genuine acquisition pattern, it is crucial to exclude explicit strategies in the second language experiment. The current study attempts to adopt test instruments which can disentangle explicit and implicit knowledge, and to provide empirical evidence of importance of task choices in second language research by employing both explicit and implicit tasks, following a psychometric study of Ellis (2005). In the current study, a linguistic property of English genericity was tested by seventy seven Korean speaking leaners of English, and two tasks were employed: timed-acceptability judgment task (implicit task) and untimed- grammaticality judgment task (explicit task). More consistent responses were found in the implicit task compared to the explicit one, and it suggests that test methods should be selected with greater consideration in order to enhance the validity of second language research.

< SEO DONG YO > could be restructured as the 4·4 meter poem if we recognized it as a traditional 4 passage child verse. As one meter had only one syntactic unit, 'pamΛj ΛljΛl' would have also a single unit. In the reversed phrase 'ΛljΛl pamΛj', 'ΛljΛl' had a function to modify 'pamΛj' which had a meaning of 'at the night'. We could find its genetic meaning in the cognated Evenki language. The syllable final palatalized liquid of restructured form had changed to glide /j/ before Middle Korean period and then occurred the metathesis by dint of a constraint which prohibited syllable initial vowel. Therefore Old Korean form 'ΛljΛl' which had a meaning of several times had changed to 'jΛrΛ'.

Repentance is used to regret, do forgiveness, and confess sins by doing evil. In other words, they repent of their sins and hope for merit from the Buddha. Such repentance is a ritual meaning in Buddhist art, a ritual act that always appears in various Buddhist events, and is the most important ritual prerequisite to obtaining and converting the word of Buddha.
First, repentance can be related to the process of accepting Buddhism in early Taoism or Confucianism in China. At the end of the Later Han, tàipíngdào was taught to heal sickness and the peace of the world. This means that the meaning of repentance and the method of ritual are the same, which can be the origin of repentance in China. In other words, repentance in China seems to have been naturally introduced into Buddhist culture on the tradition of folk religion.
The scriptures seen in the scriptures are believed to have been understood and very important since the early adoption of Buddhism. Later, 'cham' was referred to as a more emphasis on the meaning of 'hoe', and it was used universally with repentance as the term 'chamhoe' appeared. In addition, repentance revealed a ritualistic personality with a fragmentary example.
In more general terms, chamhoe is a process of ritual formation in the third century and chammun and chamhoe methods in the fourth and fifth centuries. In the process, sonho and several monks showed repentance of individual chamhoe and attain Buddhahood. It has also transformed into a form of national ceremony for the imperial family as well as individual matters. By the time of the Emperor Wu of Liang, the form of the ritual was relatively complete. 
After Suí, the system of chamhoe method was fully established in beobhwasammaecham-ui by jiyǐe. As the chamhoe method was established by Emperor Wen of Sui throughout the country, the chamhoe method established by jiyǐe of Nán Cháo, like chammun, is also expected to spread throughout China.
As we have seen, Chinese repentance can be found in the teachings of tàipíngdào. In addition to Buddhism acceptance, it spread throughout China through the process of establishing the system as a repentance of individuals, ceremonies of national events, and ceremonies of pure Buddhism.

The study analyzed 'Role Language' of characters' dialogues shown on Okinawa Literature. In human relations, Okinawa dialect was used more in family relations. Both standard language and Okinawa dialect were used for dialogues with people other than family. In family relations, Okinawa dialect was used more frequently than other relations and a variety of Okinawa dialect was used. Okinawa dialect was used in many ways when a character was talking to oneself or a listener was an Okinawan. A phonetic side of Okinawa dialect was shown on the literature. Okinawa dialect had a characteristic of not having 'e' and 'o' that Japanese language had. It could be proved that a character was from Okinawa by using those kinds of expressions. Okinawa dialect had different types of functions according to social attributes. Specifically, there was a distinction according to a character's social position. In Okinawa literature, stereotypes of vocabulary or language which was related to particular dialect were shown.

This paper analyzed the structure and the productive meaning of "Production verbs(Seisan-Verb:生産動詞)" in modern Japanese.
In the productive verbs, we tried to analyze them using three words: "Tsukuru," "Umu:生む," and "Seisan-suru:生産する."In particular, "Tsukuru:作る" verbs have a wide range of productive meanings, and they even seem to include "As mentioned in this paper, categorization into eight categories draws attention to the ambiguity of their meanings.Also, in the case of verbs that are "Tsukuru," the analysis focused on the meanings of "Living creatures such as humans and animals," "Living creatures with life give birth to children and eggs," and "Creating new things that have not been there before.“

It can be said that 〈赭白马赋〉 (Zhe-Bai-Ma-Fu) is typical of 诗人 之赋丽以则(Shi-Ren-Zhi-Fu-Li-Yi-Ze), because of its strict style, the writing style is fluid, the language is simple, and the phrase is not difficult. In addition, the color of language is relatively outstanding, and the parts describing the excellent shape, bone, self, and speed of 赭白馬 (Zhe-Bai-Fu) seem to be alive, so it seems to see a swift horse painting full of energy.
In the 14th year of 義熙(Yi-Xi) (418). when 劉裕(Liu-Yu) was served as 宋公(Song-Gong), 赭白马(Zhe-Bai-Ma) was presented to 劉裕 (Liu-Yu) in 晉(Jin), and 劉裕(Liu-Yu) was given to 文帝(Wen-Di) again. The horse died of old age, and at about 4, 50 years old, the horse was kept by 文帝(Wen-Di) for more than twenty years.
It is related to 漢賦 (Han-Fu)'s 頌諫 (Song-Jian) tradition that the contents of 頌讚(Song-Zan) and 諷諫 (Feng-Jian) appeared in Yan-Yan-Zhi's 〈赭白马赋〉 (Zhe-Bai-Ma-Fu), and also to the tradition of the banishment of Yan-Yan-Zhi to recite words and the intention of decorating the country's peace. 梁代 (Liang Dynasty) 張率 (Zhang-Shuai) basically imitated Yan-Yan-Zhi's 〈赭白马赋〉 (Zhe-Bai-Ma-Fu), have had an impact to 唐代 (Tang-Dynasty) 李白 (Li-Bai)'s〈天马歌〉(Tian-Ma-Ge), 杜甫 (Du-Fu)'s 〈高都驄馬行〉(Gao-Du-Zong-Ma-Xing), 〈魏將軍歌〉 (Wei-Jiang-Jun-Ge), 〈瘦馬行〉(Shou-Ma-Xing), 黃庭堅 (Huang-Ting-Jian)'s 〈虎圖〉 (Hu-Tu) etc poet. We cannot afford to neglect the influence of 〈赭白马赋〉 (Zhe-Bai-Ma-Fu) on posterity and its place in Chinese literary history.

Oe Kenzaburo has been deeply influenced by William Blake, an English poet of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. He resorted to Blake especially after his first son was born severely handicapped. It is extraordinary to see how much he has been indebted to Blake. His Rouse Up O Young Men of the New Age! is literally filled with quotations from William Blake's poems and engravings. It is, to use Julian Kristeva's phrase, “a mosaic of quotations.” Oe absorbs and transforms Blake's text to a great extent in which his text is almost saturated by Blake's. This study examines “Songs of Innocence, Songs of Experience,” the first story in the collection, in light of what Kristeva calls intertextuality and brings into discussion the ethical dimension of intertextuality Oe makes use of. It highlights the way Oe reads Blake and draws connections between Blake's poems and his own life particularly regarding his handicapped son with a severe brain damage. Reading Blake was for Oe not only a way to survive the traumatic experience of his own family but a way to find a new style through which he came to terms with his writing profession. Oe has drawn connections between his personal and professional life and Blake's poems of which he thinks as “some marvelous encyclopedia.” He found in Blake “some kind of prophetic guidance” for his own life.
