When learning adults, we no longer see it as simply acquiring knowledge and skills. Adult learners often seek more education to learn new knowledge or not fall behind in order to adapt to social changes. At the same time, we should learn to make our own interpretations rather than act on other people's purposes, beliefs, judgments, and emotions. Promoting such understanding is the basic goal of adult education. The core of transformative learning is defined as the process of transforming the frame of reference already held by adults, including mental habits, perspectives, assumptions, and expectations, and focuses on understanding the meaning of experience with autonomous thinking.
This study explores the question of how basic values and assumptions already established throughout adult life, such as society, culture, and education, can be transformed through learning by exploring the transformative learning as a way to transform the meaning of these experiences into new thinking. Therefore, this study discusses the value and role of dance as the transformative learning for adults by discussing where dance is located and how it plays its role in transform the frame of reference for communication, and aims to expand dance education. This study discusses the following purpose:
First, to investigate education for value and communication to a new perspective in adults, it discusses the concept of the transformative learning and the critical reflection, which is the essence of adult education, and explore the dance to communication. Second, to explore the transformative learning as open communication that sympathises with others, it explores emotion and body implications in the transformative learning recognition and depicts the role of dance for the reconstruction and expansion of adult baseline frames.

Contemporary dance is recognized as a space of sharing in which numerous people directly participate as a form of human understanding. Contemporary dance, described using bidirectional relationships, is created and distributed by knowledge structures in which experiences and knowledge are connected. In this context, the contents of this study, which attempted to explain the accessibility of the public good of dance through knowledge education, can be presented as follows.
The role of contemporary dance, in which communication takes place through the body as a subject of awareness, has become an investment of life that directly participates in dance with a change of consciousness (an expansion of the mind) and it functions as a public good that communicates with participants through a dance knowledge structure. Dance knowledge structures that are connected among and related to participants possess structures that systematically expand knowledge through themselves.
Spaces that participate in dance are relational spaces in which connected relationships between people and dance and between people and people are established and knowledge is created through participant activities (experiences).
Dance knowledge education is a form of imagination that approaches knowledge systems formed within history and culture based on background knowledge (sensory data) without depending on any particular knowledge and it recognizes universal lives common to mankind along with individually unique lives and contributes to awakening self-management abilities within them.
Integrated artistic dance and dance literacy in contemporary dance knowledge education discovers the creation origins of knowledge from the human spirit of culture and history as public goods and knowledge is created through imagination learning that forms relationships with other things.
Dance literacy, which reasons and infers from what has been, makes reading the world possible withing diverse relationships and integrated artistic dance, which broadens the ranges of pluralistic thinking through various sensory data (forms), amplifies the possibilities of self-expression. This signifies that they can possibly serve as containers in which dance knowledge structures are shared as dance knowledge education strategies.

초록보기

As the life of the shutdown caused by COVID-19 suddenly began in 2020, on-tact became commonplace beyond un-tact situation, which made non-contact life a new norm in many areas, including society, economy, education and culture. Now that non-contact has become new normal, online-based arts & culture education shows the potential to pursue universal accessibility, qualitative improvement and spread social values and fully implement them. Under these demands of the times, the current status of dance education was reviewed, focusing on arts & culture education sites changing due to the COVID-19, and exploring what aspects of arts & culture education in the post-COVID-19 period should be implemented to provide the basis for active mutual exchange of arts & culture education.
In order to form an active enjoyment ecosystem of arts & culture education in the non-contact era, first, arts educators should play the role of guides, intermediaries, and facilitators who act as guides on how to make their own system, not as a role of conveying knowledge, by practicing unlearning to abandon the idea of old type and convert the frame of thought into new type.
Second, we should explore new forms of contents that allow us to share our senses and continuously interact with each other even in non-contact, online situations, contents of ecological learning that coexist with the global environment, and contents that contain the essence of arts & culture education, not just functional education.
Third, we need to systematically build the IT infrastructure needed for online- based education, which has been accelerated by COVID-19. In addition to hardware, educators and learners should prepare appropriate education programs and compensation systems to make good use of the digital environment, specific online content construction and delivery methods, regulations and philosophies on online-based education, and utilize them to help all citizens enjoy the right to enjoy culture and arts.
Fourth, it is necessary to establish a platform that enables artists, art educators, consumers, planning agencies, and local related agencies to organically interact with each other to manage human resources, to provide resources such as online content, learning contents, learner's learning support and management system, and tools for interaction and collaboration for learning activities. In addition, the role of a platform for sharing opinions should be possible so that public opinion in the field of arts & culture education can be communicated and reflected in administration and policies to achieve cultural democracy.
It is a time when it cannot be overemphasized more than ever that it is the unrivaled value of culture and arts to provide new vitality and consolation through the power of creation to look at the world from a different perspective in the situation of pandemics such as COVID-19. We should also find ways together to promote and enjoy arts & culture education from a more active and self-reliant perspective along with reclaimed social and public values while maintaining the personal value of arts & culture education, that is the essence of self-fulfillment, self-understanding, and self-reflection.

The fourth period is a pedaling exercise time for expression of music, and dealt with various pedal techniques in conjunction with the change of accents position of motion and the sense of space, weight and phrase of motion. The fifth session is about the technique for expressing dynamics, and it is connected to the training of high-level performance by using the characteristics of small-scale delicate movements and large-scale strong movements. Finally, the sixth session is a wrap-up time for finishing the program, including checking each session's contents and discussion on the possibility of development.
The ultimate purpose of learning for students majoring in piano is to grasp the composer's intentions and play them based on the correct musical interpretation. However, there are parts that are difficult to express only with interpretation and technique. The educational program presented in this study will help improve the delicate and rich expression as well as the cultivation of piano techniques by introducing the sensibility of ballet into music. I hope that various teaching methods that incorporate visual arts will continue to be developed and studied in the future, and hope that the program will be used as a useful educational material for piano majors in arts high schools who intensively train piano skills.

E-learning is on the rise due to the spread of pandemic and ICT. Nevertheless, supplementation is necessary in the field of performing arts such as dance, because these fields lack utilization and accessibility of e-learning. The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of Education Service Quality(ESQ) on 316 students who have experienced e-learning in dance. As a result, it was found that Five factor's ESQ sub-variables such as tangibility, confidence and empathy had a significant effect on learning satisfaction. As a result of R-squared change, all of the hypotheses were adopted in the moderating effect of online communication, when tangibility control variables such as 'communication with professors' and 'communication with learners' were positively reinforced in learning satisfaction. But, when confidence and sympathy was designated as an independent variable, that had no significant modulatory effect. Therefore, it is necessary to reflect the elements of educational service quality in the dance online lecture field. If the communication element is improved centering on tangibility, the limitations of non-face-to-face classes can be partially compensated and the effect of online learning can be enhanced.

This study is to investigate the perception of attitude of dance major students in university toward dementia. So far, attitude-related research on dementia patients has been mainly studied by adults, nursing students, and physical therapy students, and there is no case for dance major students who will provide arts education and provide movement after the graduation. In practice, it is necessary to study the perception of dementia attitudes in their subjects because dancing has a positive effect on preventing dementia and because it can be expected that majors will implement dance education for the elderly who are subject to potential dementia. Analyzing factors affecting attitudes and providing educational programs for the formation of positive attitudes are understood to be important at this point. The purpose of this study is to identify dementia attitudes for dance majors and provide the basis for education development to foster positive dementia attitudes.

초록보기

The aging of the population is appearing worldwide, and Korea is increasing the aging population faster than any other country. This means that your life as an elderly person will be longer. In order to live happily as an aged person, it is necessary to achieve successful aging. In successful aging, a healthy body is an important factor that determines the life of the elderly. A healthy body is an ecological body, which denotes that one's mind and body are in a state of harmony. Straightening the elderly body and creating an ecological body by re-bodying the disordered body order is realized through movement. The process of organizing and internalizing these movements is necessary, and in this thesis this process was set as the body design process. This study is a study on the process of body design of the elderly for successful aging and proposes the direction of the following step-by-step design process: First, the process of designing an old person's body starts with discovering problems while searching his or her body through movement, which necessarily leads to reflection of one's life. Second, it is important to plan movements from an ecological point of view and perform them continuously and repeatedly to restore body order. Third, from an ecological point of view, it is a stage of practice that regenerates the harmony of consciousness and body. This is a very important process since it involves the continuous practice of movement to regenerate energy by properly re-arranging the body and smoothing circulation. Designing the elderly body in this way is directly related to health, and recovery of health is the first step in successful aging. New perspectives and changes in one's view point on the elderly body will be an important driving force in re-examining the lives of all of us and fulfilling a healthy old life as an important member of the community.
