This study has the objective of providing basic data to contribute to the magnification of the corporate profit eventually by lowering the turnover rates of the corporation and inducing long service, by comprehending the effect relationship of the quality of life of the hotel employees on the professional vocation awareness and job satisfaction, improving quality of personal life of hoteliers and enhancing the job satisfaction. This study has investigated on the effect relationship between the quality of life of hoteliers and job satisfaction and if the professional vocation awareness shows regulation effect between the two variables based on the theoretical background about quality of life, professional vocation awareness and job satisfaction of the hotel employees and result of the precedent studies. The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of life of hotel employees and establish improvement directions for job satisfaction. A study model was deducted and the hypothesis was verified through a practical study. A total of 8 hypothesis were verified after reviewing the reliability and validity of the study model based on the 330 specimen procured to perform the practical study. And according to the result, it was shown that the sub-factors of quality of life, the quality of psychological life and quality of economical life affect positively the internal job satisfaction and external job satisfaction and that the professional vocation awareness has regulation effect between the two variables, life of psychological life and internal job satisfaction.

This study analyzes overall effects of usage strategic cost management techniques on the information satisfaction and business performance in Busan hotels. Generally it is recognized that strategic cost management techniques gives positive effect on business performance. Research results and suggestions are as follows. First, the usage of strategic cost management techniques gives impact on business performance. The performance increase result in by the function of performance generating variables of production and performance evaluation system attributes. Second, the usage of strategic cost management techniques gives impact on the information satisfaction. These results suggest that in order for improving business performance in Busan hotels, it is necessary to devise proper method of producing and implementing specific management accounting informations based on the purpose of strategic cost management techniques introduction. Third, the information satisfaction gives no impact on the business performance. However, in order to improve business performance through the use of strategic cost management techniques production and use of specific information for the business goals of the hotel is the need to find ways. Academic implications is almost no research has been the strategic cost management techniques for tourism and hotel sector. Therefore, it would be helpful in research in this field. Practical implications in strategic cost management techniques will be an important management accounting guidance for business performance of the hotel.

The physical environment of a hotel kitchen can closely affects the job involvement, satisfaction and improvement in productivity of kitchen workers as well, and can cause various desires of the workers to work. This environment leads to job involvement or job satisfaction of workers and will be able to raise the business performance of organizational culture ultimately. At this level, a positive research was conducted on whether the physical environment of a deluxe hotel affects job satisfaction and involvement, and job satisfaction plays a mediation role for job involvement with the kitchen workers working deluxe hotels in Seoul area. The results of analysis were as follows: First, spatiality of the physical environment of a hotel kitchen significantly affected job satisfaction, and comfort and safety significantly positively(+) affected job satisfaction as well. Second, job satisfaction significantly positively(+) affected the job involvement. Finally, the spatiality, comfort and safety of physical environment significantly positively(+) affected job involvement.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of luxury hotel chef``s working schedule on work-family conflict and job satisfaction centering around the working schedule satisfied, and to present an alteration and a desirable direction of improvement. Preliminary survey was carried out with luxury hotel chefs in downtown Seoul and Incheon from September 01 to 30, 2015. Total 350 questionnaires were distributed and 337 were recollected, among them 313 excluding unfaithfully answered ones were used as samples. Empirical analysis was carried out based on the collected data using SPSS 18.0 statistical program. Carried out to grasp demographical statistics were technical and statistical analysis, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis. In hotel scene, working schedule is set up with the date the person in question wants and the time for chefs`` personal development(schooling, lecture) is used enough. Chefs who have extra- work income showed a higher degree of satisfaction with working schedule. The satisfaction with working schedule raises job satisfaction that enables better service. A better working environment is desirable with working schedule managed and run efficiently and by improving chefs`` job satisfaction.

This study is to suggest the basic data that are useful to the human resource management of hotel cooking workers by setting the job demand-resource of hotel cooking workers as the influencing factors and figuring out the influencing relationship to job engagement, job burnout which are the dependent factors, and finally turnover intention. For data collection, total 300 questionnaires were distributed to hotels from 10th April to 30th April in 2016 and 255 questionnaires were collected but 11 questionnaires were excluded because they have a serious tendency of centralization or not suitable for analysis, we conducted the factor analysis and reliability test to 244 questionnaires by using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0, the covariance structure analysis was conducted to verify the suggested hypothesis. Reviewing the analyzed result, first it showed that social support, self-development and work overload influenced to the job engagement meaningfully. On the contrary, it showed that voluntary work, role ambiguity and role conflict didn``t influence to the job engagement meaningfully. Second, reviewing the relationship between job demand-resource and job burnout, it showed that social support, self-development and work overload influenced to the job burnout meaningfully. On the contrary, it showed that voluntary work, role ambiguity and role conflict didn``t influence to the job burnout meaningfully. Third, reviewing the relationship between job demand-resource and turnover intention, it showed that voluntary work, self-development and work overload influenced to the turnover intention meaningfully. On the contrary, it showed that social support, role ambiguity and role conflict didn``t influ- ence to the turnover intention meaningfully. Fourth, it showed that job engagement, which is the influencing factor, influenced to the turnover intention negatively. Finally, it showed that job burnout, which is the influencing factor, influenced to the turnover intention negatively. Therefore we suggested the useful implications on job demand-resource of hotel cooking workers based on analyzed result.

The purpose of this study is to figure out a relationship between work stress and turnover intention of hotel staff in Jeju Island, South Korea and to provide the result of this study as a preliminary data for improvement of work environment and preparation for human resource management methods by setting demographic characteristics, work stress, experiences of turnover, and general characteristics as variables and figuring out the detail factor. The followings are three main results of the study. First, women had a higher intention to leave their job than men, single workers had a higher turnover intention than married workers, and non-regular workers had a higher turnover intention than regular workers. The second result represented that work environment ranked the most important work factor that has influence on the turnover intention of hotel staff followed by prospect, and work condition. Lastly, work environment and prospect had a significant influence on turnover intention of male workers, and work environment and communication were important factors of turnover intention of female workers. For non-regular workers, work environment and prospect were the most important factor of turnover intention, and for regular workers, work environment and work condition were the most significant factor of turnover intention. In addition, work environment, prospect, and work condition affect turnover intention of workers who had not changed their jobs. On the other hand, for workers who had changed their jobs, work environment was the only factor that affect turnover intention significantly.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the moderating effects of address terms for service provider used by customer on relational benefits and satisfaction. Hypothesized on the basis of previous researches and the data for the exploratory research collected by structured questionnaire from the undergraduates of a university in Seoul. In order to verify the hypothesis a frequency analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis were conducted using SPSS statistical package. Findings of the present study were as follows; 1)under graduates used the place type address terms more than kin ship and job title form 2)the psychological benefits and the social benefits were significant on the satisfaction, but the customization benefits were not significant 3)address terms had a significant moderating effect between the relational benefits and the satisfaction.

Recent urban festivals should be made because the rapidly expanding, and do not be included in the existing traditional local festivals each city by independent research Urban Festival. In this study, the five new city festival "wonju dynamic Festival" in the subject, analyzed the difference between the importance and satisfaction of the quality of festival service. The results are shown in significantly (p <.05, .000). IPA analysis was performed to extract the factors considering the importance and satisfaction of the festival city at the same time. As a result, the side held to consider urgently the fourth quadrant (centralization efforts oriented: concentrate here) included the guidance system, commodity prices, food prices, convenient parking, seating area, cleanliness etc.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factor of satisfaction of tourism products for revisited chinese tourist and Japanese tourist in Seoul. We analyzed it that factor of dissatisfaction of Chinese & Japanese tourists who visited Seoul in Korea. Our results are as follows. First, kindness, communication and description expertise of guide it were equally analyzed by high the factor of satisfaction of Chinese & Japanese tourists. Second, taste of food, quality of food and dining facilities it were analyzed by high the factor of dissatisfaction of Chinese tourists. Third, experience the excellence of content, creative experience, frequency of shop visit, hard sell it were analyzed by high the factor of dissatisfaction of Japanese tourists.

Tourism industry is a kind of peaceful industry. It contribute greatly to the improvementof global peace, but it is being affected by international political situation. The main political phenomenon that affect tourism industry in North Korea; can be summarized as, 1. Use of political situation around Korean Peninsula, 2. International conflict by nuclear and missile, 3. Political stability. North Korean political use of tourism, in the Kim Jong-un era, has raised its level of opening in tourism industry, considering it as an important source of foreign exchange and his main achievement in the economic sector. Currently, North Korea``s type of tourism industry opening is “assertive and/but partial open type,” without stepping foot on transition-typed models. First, Kim Jong-un himself has assertively led tourism opening and development policies. Second, in comparison to the former era, more active changes have occurred, in terms of geographic openness, institutional reform, and expansion of infrastructure. Attracted foreign capital from China and others for tourism development seemed insignificant, while reinforced relationship with Russia could contribute to the development of tourism infrastructure. There are, however, endemic problems such as annually detained U.S. citizen tourists since 2012, chronic lack of accommodation facilities, crisis created by political and/or military provocation, just to name a few. For further development of tourism industry, it is vital to produce stable conditions for foreign investment along with economic reform so that ripple effects of tourism industry would be maximized while risk factors would be otherwise.
